A registered historic building with an original copper-clad cupola and slate roof. The cupola copper had patinated to a deep verdigris; the slate field had isolated failures from a century of patching. We documented every original detail, prepared the historic district commission submission, sourced matching reclaimed slate, hand-fabricated new copper cap details to match the original profiles, and reinstalled the field tile-by-tile.
